Honda aims for SAE Level 3 self-driving in future EVs

Honda Motor plans to introduce SAE Level 3 self-driving in its electric vehicles, partnering with Helm.AI. Helm.AI uses generative AI to create training data through a virtual fleet, a method that differs from Tesla's real-world data collection. Honda also is working with Renesas and TSMC to develop a powerful AI chip, addressing concerns about power efficiency.
