Overview of the Free Online Webinar:

“Harnessing the Power of Simcenter Magnet in Simcenter 3D”

Discover what Simcenter 3D can do as a comprehensive multi-domain platform for all your CAE pre- and post-processing needs.

This webinar will showcase how Simcenter 3D facilitates smooth connections between different physics through its NX-based interface.

Using a Power Transformer as an example, we will demonstrate:

• The process of importing electromagnetic forces as loads into Simcenter 3D Acoustics (Nastran solvers).

• Acoustic solution results such as deformations, acoustic pressure, power, noise levels, and more, using Simcenter 3D’s advanced capabilities.

This session will also present a general workflow in Simcenter 3D, applicable to various solvers, including Structural and Motion.

Why Attend?

  • Gain insights into a streamlined workflow for complex simulations.
  • Learn about connectivity between various multi-physics environments.
  • Enhance your understanding of Simcenter 3D for efficient CAE processes.

Don’t miss this opportunity to elevate your simulation expertise!

If you would like to evaluate the latest version of the software for transformer design, please Contact us.

Please check the overview of the Short-Circuit Test in the Trafosolve Software.

TrafoSolve from Infologic Design provides automatic control of the Simcenter MAGNET Suite for rapid transformer design analysis. It is an easy and logical interface, allowing users to quickly input transformer characteristics into the software.

The video will demonstrate the Short-Circuit Test, it's possibilities, and how to set up your own parameters to make a test using Trafosolve software.

Why conduct a short circuit test?

  • to determine the transformer's comparable reactance and resistance.
  • to determine the transformer's variable losses (copper loss).

By acquiring the short circuit test data, the transformer's voltage regulation can be ascertained.

How Can a Short Circuit Test Be Performed?

The L.V. side is closed-circuited during the short circuit test, which is conducted at rated current on the high voltage side. Because rated current occurs more readily on the H.V. side than the L.V. side, it is conducted on the H.V. side.

Our Transformer design engineers work close with our Transformer Manufacturer clients to add the latest solutions to today's Transformer Design challenges inside one platform - TRAFOSOLVE.

Infologic Design - From Design to Production

Infologic Design have been providing electromagnetic design software since 1978 (when it was named Infolytica Ltd), but as well as providing the software (now part of Simcenter from Siemens), we also offer a full Consultancy Facility. This ranges from running analyses as specified by the customer, to full design optimization to create the best design to meet the requirements specified by the customer, for devices ranging from electric motors to large scale transformers.

In addition, we can manufacture physical prototype electric motors, and working with one of our partners can even provide manufacturing facilities.
