We have been a nonprofit for five years. As we made this shift, we have rethought our role in the community. We listen more and are welcoming more voices to The Tribune. It has also allowed us to build a healthier business model. 

We do not have corporate owners or shareholders to answer to. We can focus our business where it matters: ensuring we have the best journalists covering the stories that matter to Utahns.
