India’s infrastructure sector is on the threshold of a major transformation, with the Union government firmly committed to driving its growth. By significantly increasing allocations and implementing enhanced project monitoring for timely execution, the government underscores infrastructure as a cornerstone of the nation’s progress.

In line with advancements in technology, the government is exploring ways to incorporate next-generation AI into the PM Gati Shakti platform to streamline and accelerate infrastructure planning and development. Over the last two years, nearly 200 projects, valued at around Rs 13.5 lakh crores, have been reviewed under this initiative, underscoring its scale and impact.

The PM Gati Shakti Master Plan is designed to make infrastructure projects more multimodal and highly efficient, connecting them strategically with industrial and economic hubs. This approach aims to build a well-connected, future-ready India, boosting the country’s economic growth and global competitiveness.
