However, there is concern about whether drivers will use the electric capabilities or rely primarily on gasoline, similar to the usage patterns seen with plug-in hybrids, Voelcker writes.

Stellantis' new STLA Frame platform, which will debut with the Ram 1500 REV and Ramcharger in 2025, is designed for full-size trucks, SUVs and commercial vehicles.
