Welcome back to Posted, where we are surely among the Canadians who feel today like our procrastinating ways have finally been validated and rewarded by the federal government. For reasons that will be clear from the second item below, we will continue our practice of not buying Christmas presents until about a week before the big day, and all of our beloved family members can expect to have the merriest of times when they open their (choose one of) groceries, alcohol (but not spirits), baby and children’s clothing, diapers, or print newspapers.
