Little did my fiancé, Rich, know that when he agreed to take home a cute little abused and abandoned kitten that he was really getting a lot more than he bargained for. Our running, jumping, climbing trees cat, Bailey, had a personality the size of a Great Dane and the attitude to match.
There were no problems at first, other than the typical antics of living with a kitten. He liked to climb, and therefore was on the counters, tables, couches, the CD tower, etc. Once he knocked over the CD tower while attempting to jump from it onto the top of the wall unit. Down crashed five hundred of Rich’s over-a-thousand-strong music collection, waking us up from a dead sleep on Saturday morning. I thought Bailey was history. Luckily for him, no CDs were harmed in the execution of this feat. He had character and no trick was too great for him. He was a blast, and he made our first house a home.
