We have a web messenger for people who are accessing our services- these are of a sensitive nature (substance misuse rehabilitation for example). We need to make sure that when the messenger window loads, the previous conversation is not there in case of shared computers etc.

I've tried calling MessagingService.clearConversation but this won't work unless there is an active conversation ("There is no active conversation found to clear"). If I make the conversation active then the previous conversation returns to the screen.

I know users could clear the conversations themselves but I really would like there to be another safeguard here. Is there a better command I can call or call clearConversation at another time?
