We are not that familiar with workday possibilities. In Genesys WFM "Canceled" and "Denied" are pretty much the same, just "Canceled" shows that the agent has cancelled and "Denied" that supervisor has denied it, but the operationally they are the same - time-off will not happen.
Maybe you can map both into the same status on workday?

Thanks for the reply....i just figured it out....the setting to not count against hours off was toggled. once i unchecked, it worked fine. BTW, is there a way to cancel with workday, i don't see workday cancel/update api

Hello, This is most likely a set up issue where the agent is not a part of workplan or a published schedule. We would need additional information like organizationId, userId, correlationId of the request to look up more data from logs. Finally got HRIS Working but something happened in my development, when i have the full day option selected, it calculates as 0 hours. before during development, it would calculate automatically as 8. not sure what i did to mess this up. any ideas?
