A man was found dead in an Aurora park near Lowry around 5:45 a.m. Monday and investigators believe he was shot, police said.

An Auraria Campus police officer was injured Monday in a Denver shooting after trying to arrest a man breaking into a car on campus, police said.

At least one person is dead Monday morning after a fatal hit-and-run on Interstate 225 involving a motorcycle, Aurora police said.

The shooting happened near the intersection of East Colfax Avenue and Josephine Street, the Denver Police Department said.

Around 1 a.m. Sunday, the man fired multiple shots at Aurora officers at an apartment complex in the 1900 block of South Vaughn Way, police said.

Large ordered that Stanley’s disbarment take effect no sooner than Nov. 1.

Police advised drivers to expect delays in the area and use detours around the intersection.

A pedestrian was killed Saturday in a fatal crash on Colorado 470 that shut down the highway for several hours, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

The paralegal, who worked in the Denver District Attorney’s Office, told one of Nicholas Moodley’s friends that the prosecutors on the case believed they’d “got it wrong.”
