Library to Participate in Capitol Hill Evacuation ExerciseOn Monday, Oct. 21, from 10 a.m. to approximately 1 p.m., all three buildings of the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. will be evacuated and closed to the public for a Capitol-Hill-wide drill under the operation of the U.S. Capitol Police. All visitors and researchers must leave the Jefferson, Adams and Madison buildings during the course of the evacuation drill.
