Good afternoon,

Property developer Mirvac is betting on its premium property strategy in city offices and apartment developments to get through the pain hitting the wider commercial and residential market.

The race for the country’s prime towers is heating up with Singaporean giant OUE REIT poised to exercise its rights to buy a half interest in Sydney’s Salesforce Tower in a deal valuing the skyscraper at about $1.73bn.

The Lowy family-backed Assembly Funds Management and funds giant PGIM have sold Coburns Central in the Melbourne suburb of Melton West for $49m.
