Free-to-air television consumers are set to see their Win TV Channel 10 disappear from their screens with the network saying they will switch off the channel midnight on Friday.
While the move has sparked political and community backlash, the Win Network has told ABC South East SA the service is no longer viable.
In other news, controversial former MP Nick McBride has faced court in Adelaide, short term accommodation providers have expressed their opinions regarding a potential registry and the Mil Lel Show will kick off this weekend.
And about 1,000 people celebrated the opening of a new temple last weekend amid plenty of colour, joy and community spirit.
The BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir opened in Mount Gambier, with a procession through the city on Saturday and a community gathering at Wulanda on Sunday.
Local man Ravi Patel — one of the volunteers who dedicated their time to the mandir project — described the building transformation as "magical".
And in other news, CFS and SES volunteers helped rescue a large steer stuck in a well near Naracoorte.
