Things are really heating up in Food Hub land, as we're in the midst of our biggest project of the year: Top Restaurants. Senior food and dining critic Helen Freund is hard at work wrapping up the dining and writing required to bring you, dear reader, her list of this year's best 50 restaurants in the area. Get reacquainted with last year's list, and set a reminder for Nov. 6, when the first batch of spots in her new edition officially drops.
There's a lot in the works before then, too. In just two weeks, we'll publish the first of three additional lists from the Food Hub, a roundup of some niche dining categories we're excited about.
The big culmination of all this work: our Top Restaurants event at The Factory St. Pete. It's there that we'll first reveal Helen's top 10 picks on Nov. 10. Tickets are selling fast (actually true, not a marketing tactic!), so I suggest you head to tampabay.com/foodie and scoop yours up if you want to be in the audience that evening.
