My daily software engineering workflow

Hello everyone, for me to be the most productive, I have to find a routine and eliminate wasted time. I walk through my whole daily workflow, plus a bunch of other tips and tricks, in my latest video:

My Daily Software Engineering Workflow (ft. Logitech MX Keypad)

There are three steps that have made the biggest difference for me.

1. Information management. If you're not on top of what needs to get done, you're going to be way less efficient than your peers. I have a system for getting my thoughts and ideas written down and organized, so I can focus 100% of my energy on the task in front of me.

2. Efficiently building. Whether you're building by hand or with the help of agents, a good building strategy goes a long way.

3. Going live. You need a clear system for taking in-progress work all the way to completion. I use scripts for the deterministic stuff and agents when interpretation is needed. I've actually made it harder to get code live, because I want to make sure certain quality requirements are met first.
