AstraZeneca just spent $1 billion on a new 10-story building in Cambridge, MA — wedged between Thermo Fisher, Biogen and Akamai — helping to redefine the neighborhood’s skyline. At its grand opening on Monday, AstraZeneca showed off its new digs, including a conceptual map of the nearby Charles River on the second-floor ceiling, its whiz-bang new technology and its 3D talking hologram, Priya, who responded to reporters’ questions, but only with answers readily available online. |
