Brian A. Pate, 79, passed away September 30, 2026. Brian was a principal at Dave Pate and Sons Construction, Roselle and served in the Air National Guard for 37 years. Kathleen Saint Onge, 71, of Spring Grove, IL, passed away peacefully at home with her loving husband by her side on September 20, 2026. Kathy will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and love of family and animals as well as being a beautician and salon owner. Kathy was the beloved wife of Kenneth Saint Onge for 24 years, mother of Megan Ries, grandmother of Ellie and Carter, daughter; Gena (Bryan) Wines and stepmother of McKenna (Brandon) Saint Onge; sister of Judy (Wayne) Swanson and John (Jack) Termini, sister in law; Carol Termini as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, James (Jim) Termini. Celebration of Life will be held on October 17, 2026 from 1-4pm at Unity Spiritual Center of Woodstock 225 W. Calhoun St. Woodstock, IL 60098. In lieu of flowers, memorial

Mary W. (Maribeth) Kuhn, 79, of Barrington, died peacefully on September 26, 2026. Maribeth was born in Chicago on June 20, 1947, to parents George Robert and Mary (nee Callahan) Weber. Maribeth had a passion to see the world, and it was her dream to become a flight attendant. She was hired by United Airlines and was a dedicated employee for 44 years. During her career, she was honored with an award for her service during Desert Storm for working on flights flying troops from the United States to Iraq. While working at United Airlines, she met Richard "Dick" Kuhn and the couple were married on October 4, 2003, at St. Anne Church in Barrington. She and Dick loved to travel and spent time attending plays and concerts. She had an adventurous spirit and together they made many wonderful memories. She never stopped
learning and enjoyed keeping her mind active with reading, writing, puzzles, and Sudoku. Maribeth is survived by her beloved husband, Dick, her sisters, Judy (Joe) Flader, Sue (John) Curtis, Peggy (Dan) Ochylski, many nieces and nephews, Dick's children, Kelly Day, Julie Kuhn, David (Stacey) Kuhn, Nancy (Carlos) Abrams-Rivera, and Steven (Andrea) Kuhn, and grandchildren, Emily (Ben), Brandon (fiancé Brooke) Taylor (partner Patrick), Lauren, Sofia, Ryan, Michael, Alexia, Maggie, and Bradley. Visitation will be Friday, October 9, 2026, from 9 a.m. to time of Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 Ela Street, Barrington, IL. Inurnment to follow Mass at Evergreen Cemetery. Betty J. Bensen, 78, of Des Plaines, passed away peacefully September 28, 2026. Born in Chicago and raised above the Bob Inn in Logan Square, Betty attended St. John Berchmans grammar school and graduated from Josephinum High School. She loved her family, the color green, Elvis, and a good laugh. Betty worked as a bookkeeper at Meeder Industries and as a waitress at Myron & Phil's, among other places. She gave her time to the Girl Scouts, Orchard Place PTA, Iroquois Community School, and the Lady Elks. She especially treasured her grandchildren and the memories she made traveling and dancing with her beloved Don Bensen. She is survived by her children, Michael Bender, Dennis Bender, and Susan (Cervando) Chavez; grandchildren, Scarlett, Bella, Jack, and Jordan; and siblings, Mariann Gowen, DeDe (Mike) Unger, and
Jimmy (Annie) Hanson. She was preceded in death by Don; her parents, Terry and Harold Hanson; and her brother, Terry Hanson. Gregory W. Glasshof, 63, of Glenview, Illinois, formerly of Palatine, Illinois and Eau Claire, Wisconsin, passed away on September 26, 2026. Beloved husband of Wendy, nee Valentine. Loving stepfather of Jessica (Jenny) Drucker. Proud grandfather of Theo and Evie. Cherished son of Keith and Gretchen, nee Parks. Dear brother of Pam (Frank) Lila and Kim Glasshof and brother-in-law of Steven and John Valentine. Adored uncle of Ella Molnar, Sophie Lila, Kacey O'Keeffe and Courtney Valentine. He will be missed by many family and friends. Greg worked at Northrop Grumman, Nuclear Data, Inc., US Robotics, and 3Com. He earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, an MS in Computer Systems Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and a Masters of Product Development from Northwestern
University and was awarded 3 patents. Greg loved his family fiercely. His greatest joy was playing with and teaching his grandchildren. John Edward Dalton passed away peacefully on September 8, 2026. John was born December 4, 1950 in Chicago. He shared a 54-year marriage with Barbara Ann Dalton (nee Zaabel). He worked as a clinical psychologist before retiring to enjoy live music, family, and friends in Chicagoland and St. Petersburg, FL. With his passing, John joins memories of his sister Caryl Joy (nee Dalton), brother Harold (Hal) Dalton, and parents Harold and Celestin (Sally) Dalton (nee Adam). He is survived by his wife; children Scott Dalton, Kathleen (Kate) Bachtell (nee Dalton), and their spouses, Ashley Dalton and Brett Bachtell; six grandchildren; and 18 nieces and nephews and their families.
