And the idea for this one came from working with a client recently.

He had put a bunch of work into two components in Fusion.

Then we hit a problem.

One component needed to fit perfectly against the other.

His first thought was to recreate this fairly complex sketch on the second component…

and then trim away everything he didn’t need.

Basically doing a bunch of work…

just so he could delete most of it.

Neither of us wanted to "draw it all AGAIN??!!?"

Thankfully, nope.

Instead, we used one component to cut the other component.

Boom.

No recreating the complicated sketch.

No trying to make everything match perfectly.

No doing 20 minutes of work Fusion can basically do for you.
