Hey Nah,
Rich here, day five of 7 Days to Houseplant Mastery.
I want to start today with one part of Houseplant Mastery, because it's the part I'm proudest of.
Most of my messages look like this: a photo of a sad plant and three words. "What's wrong with it?" Usually the person has already tried four things that week. Watered it, moved it, fed it, maybe repotted it for good measure. The plant is now dealing with the original problem plus all four fixes.
So I built a module into the course called What To Do When Things Go Wrong. It opens with my triage framework, which is basically first aid for plants. It's a calm, step-by-step way to work out what's actually happening before you touch anything. After that comes my full root rot protocol, how to contain a pest outbreak before it spreads across your collection, and a whole module on dormancy. That last one alone would have saved me a lot of worry.
