This week we have compiled a list of 20 of the 'worst of the worst' NDIS scammers and their crimes. Among them was a mother who was given the longest ever jail term for an NDIS fraud just days ago. As Julie Cross exclusively revealed, she was the sole mastermind of a $2.2m scam which involved making false NDIS claims through several businesses. You can see her emotional response at her jail sentence and how long she got here. The details of the frauds committed by the other NDIS scammers on the list are also shocking and can be viewed in Julie’s special report on the issue.

Meanwhile, there has been huge interest in this story about an on-call surgeon who swayed when walking into an operating theatre after drinking wine and spirits. Alexandra Mowat was reprimanded for professional misconduct and potentially risking the patient's safety. Over about two hours, she drank two larger-than-standard glasses of red wine and part of a home-made grapefruit drink containing vodka or gin. Staff reported some really concerning behaviour when she arrived at the hospital for the procedure. You can view the details here.

Lastly, if you feel like you are eating all the right things and exercising but not seeing excess weight budge, you are not alone. It’s a common problem for women aged in their 40s and 50s. Nutritionist Donna Aston lists five simple things that can help.

Have a great week.
