Hello from your Bay Pines VA Healthcare System,
At approximately 10 a.m. this morning, building 22 on the C.W.Y. VAMC Campus lost power. This unexpected outage was caused by a malfunction of an electrical panel on the first floor and, as a result, the fire alarm system for the entire building is not operational.
We are working diligently to reach a resolution; however, until the fire alarm system is back online, the building is not safe for occupancy, and in-person appointments are cancelled until further notice.
This outage has only impacted building 22; no other clinical areas on the C.W.Y. VAMC Campus have been impacted. If you had an in-person appointment in building 22, that cannot be facilitated virtually, you will be rescheduled at the soonest availability. Below is a list of clinical services located in building 22:
