Annual Integrated Economic Survey Time Series Data Now Available
SEPT. 10, 2026 — The U.S. Census Bureau today released historical time series data as part of the 2024 Annual Integrated Economic Survey (AIES). These estimates incorporated historical results from the previously conducted annual surveys that now comprise the AIES to develop time series that maintain continuity with earlier published data.
The historical time series provide users with consistent measures of business activity that can be used to examine trends over time across various industries and geographies. These data are available through the Census Bureau’s API, allowing users to access and incorporate data into their own analyses and applications.
The data are also available through the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis (FRED) database, bringing these detailed business statistics to an expanded audience and making them readily accessible alongside thousands of other economic data series.
