Census Bureau Announces National 2025 Income, Poverty and Health Insurance Coverage Statistics
On Sept. 15, the U.S. Census Bureau is scheduled to hold an online news conference to announce the findings of three reports estimating income, poverty and health insurance coverage in the United States.
New Foreign-Born Population by Generation Data Tables
Today, the U.S. Census Bureau released new data tables from the 2025 Current Population Survey Annual Social and Economic Supplement (CPS ASEC). These tables provide information on household income, poverty status, employment status, health insurance coverage, education, age, sex and other social and economic statistics for the foreign-born population by generation.
On Sept. 10, the U.S. Census Bureau will release the Business Trends and Outlook Survey (BTOS). This survey measures business conditions on an ongoing basis. BTOS experimental data products are representative of all employer businesses other than farms in the U.S. economy. The data allow greater insight into the state of the economy by providing continuous, timely information for key economic measures. Data are released biweekly and are available by sector, state, employment size and the 25 most populous metropolitan statistical areas.
Business Formation Statistics
On Sept. 11, the U.S. Census Bureau will release new Business Formation Statistics (BFS) for May 2026. The BFS provide timely and high frequency information on new business applications and formations in the United States and Puerto Rico.
