Hey Adventurists,

Two things about me: I am an avid disc golfer and an avid Crocs wearer. So when I heard about a partnership between a Denver disc manufacturer and Crocs, which is based in Broomfield, I was immediately intrigued. Turns out, the story behind Trash Panda Disc Golf is nothing short of fascinating. Founder Jesse Stedman began his quest to make a disc out of 100% recycled plastic in 2020, knowing zilch about the plastics industry. Six years later, his company has recycled more than 100,000 pounds of plastic, including old shoes from Crocs that are used in a special line of putters. The journey between is one about determination, trial and error, and, of course, Colorado.

Denver skies will be mostly sunny this weekend with chances for afternoon thunderstorms. The high will be 92 on Saturday before dipping to 86 on Sunday. In the mountains, expect cooler temps and higher potential for storms.
