Participants will learn about the Reading Room’s collections, research services, and resources for exploring Latino and Latin American topics. Library staff will introduce collection materials and tools available to researchers and provide guidance for getting started with the Library’s extensive Latino collections. Latin American, Caribbean, and European Division specialists will introduce participants to resources for researching women’s history in France and the French Caribbean, including digital resources, primary sources, and tools for identifying materials available both online and for use at the Library. The orientation will offer guidance on navigating the Library’s online research tools and when to contact the European Reading Room for further research assistance. The program is intended for students, scholars, researchers, and others interested in French and French Caribbean history who would like to become more familiar with the Library’s collections and resources.
