This fall, every FCPS student will receive a student identification (ID) card as part of a divisionwide effort to modernize school transportation, improve communication with families, and strengthen student safety while traveling to and from school.
Every student who rides the school bus will need to tap on and tap off the bus every day using their new Student ID card. Families can help by reinforcing this new habit with their child.

We will communicate when the cards have arrived to GMS for distribution.
We are very excited to share that our after school programs will begin on Sept 14th. The after school program runs from Monday-Thursday from 2:20-4:45 and on Fridays from 2:20-3:30. There is a late bus available on Mondays - Thursdays at 4:45. If your child stays on Friday they would need to walk home or get picked up by 3:45.
The sign up is on the Glasgow website will open from 10:40am to 1:15pm starting on September 14th.

Study Help and Support Available to Students in Schoology
A new Schoology Study and Support Hub is available for students in Schoology. This space was developed by the FCPS Educational Technology Team with input from students. It is designed to provide essential study tools and academic support resources directly to our learners.
Students can log in to Schoology and read their Schoology announcements or watch this video on the support hub for more information.
New to ParentVUE?
The Student Information System ParentVUE (SIS ParentVUE) account is the FCPS secure solution for accessing information about your child's attendance, class performance, demographic data, and link to Schoology. It provides an additional conduit for communication with your child's school. Customized for elementary, middle, and high school students, your SIS ParentVUE account login credentials can also be used to access Schoology.

Existing ParentVUE users
Download the app and sign in with your current ParentVUE account.
New ParentVUE users
Create and activate your ParentVUE account first, then download the app and sign in.
Difference Between ParentVUE and Schoology
ParentVUE has your child's student information while Schoology has specific information regarding your child's school work.
ParentVUE
Access to your child's student information including:
- attendance,
- report cards,
- class schedules,
- grade book
(for Middle and High School students),
- course history,
- discipline,
- health,
- and school information.
Schoology
Access to view your child’s:
- courses
- groups
- assignments
- calendar
Parents can also:
- check messages
- adjust their notification settings
- access additional groups or courses
