What started as a one-off invitation to join a Thanksgiving Eve dinner for people living on Lower Wacker Drive in 1994 has turned into Food For Friends, a faith-based organization working to help feed those in need in the city and the suburbs. The group is holding its annual benefit golf outing Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Bartlett Hills Golf Course.
