Week 33, 10 August to 16 August 2026

National Syndromic Surveillance Summary:

During week 33, there were increases in syndromic ‘impact of heat’ indicators across all systems, with activity generally peaking on 14 August in line with an amber heat health alert in place across parts of England. There were also increases in eye problems reported in the NHS 111 and GP out-of-hours systems.
