Judith Ann (Konen) Hysell was born October 12, 1942, to Arthur John Konen and Isabelle Susan (Klemm) Konen in Aurora, Illinois and passed August 17, 2026, due to the combined effects of myelodysplastic syndrome and colon cancer (and wishes to thank the blood donors who helped her immensely). Judy grew up on the family farm in the Sugar Grove area and attended Holy Angels Grade School. She was a 4-H club member and received several showmanship awards as she exhibited beef cattle both locally as well as at the Illinois State Fair and the International Stock Show in Chicago. She graduated from Madonna High School, also in Aurora, where she was senior class president and co-captain of a near undefeated basketball team over her four years. She managed the family farm in Illinois until the time of her passing
