Good afternoon, Lane families!
To help keep our hallways quiet and efficient this year, we are starting a new hall pass system, and we need your help!
Our hall pass coordinators, 1st grade teacher Emily Black and 3rd grade teacher Mylie Slomka, are looking for some volunteers to help with creating the hall passes (cutting them out and organizing them).
If you are available over the next few days and would like to help, please contact either Mrs. Black at evblack@fcps.edu or Ms. Slomka at mfslomka@fcps.edu. They will contact you about days and times.
Please note: If you would like to volunteer this year and have not yet registered in the Volunteer FCPS system and filled out an application, you must do so before coming to school to volunteer the first time. Here's the link to the Lane General Volunteering page: https://fcps.samaritan.com/custom/501/affiliation_details/3187. Just click "Sign Up" to start the process.
Be sure to fully complete your application! After registering and creating your account, you should be prompted to watch the required volunteer orientation video and fill out an application. If you are not automatically prompted, please log back in to the account you just created and click on your Dashboard to complete these additional steps.
If you registered and were accepted as a volunteer last year, you do not need to register again.
