The parents of at least 30 children conceived by IVF treatment in northern Cyprus fear the wrong sperm or egg donors were used. The figure is one of several new findings in our investigation that, earlier this year, uncovered the first seven cases. Half of these 30 children were born following treatment at one clinic, Dogus IVF Centre. One mother, Rachel, who recently learned that she had been given the wrong sperm donor from the clinic, called her discovery "absolutely scandalous". We have also now learnt that the world's largest sperm bank, Cryos International, has blacklisted Dogus since 2016. Three staff members, pictured above, were involved in the care of many of the parents at Dogus, who suspect they may have misled them. Firdevs denies any wrongdoing, while neither Alpturk or Hodson responded.

US military officials have disputed concerns about the living conditions aboard the warship USS Abraham Lincoln, where 5,000 troops have been deployed for nearly nine months. A Navy veteran who spent 111 days aboard the battleship USS Carl Vinson, which he described as a floating prison, during the war with Afghanistan has seen first-hand the impact of long periods of service at sea.
