An early morning crash on Interstate 25 near Denver threw a pedestrian over the highway’s concrete barrier, killing him, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

Since 2023, Denver officers have responded to six cases of people breaching the airport perimeter fence and two cases in which people jumped the fence into the airport’s warehouse area, records show.

“Any new program is going to need time, and it’s going to have kinks,” Stephanie Keiper, Aurora’s manager of homelessness and behavioral health, said of the bumpy start to the Aurora Regional Navigation Campus.

A paraglider and a hang glider were rescued from the Aspen Mountain area on Sunday after they collided midair, injuring each other, according to the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office.
