Hello from your Bay Pines VA Healthcare System, Veterans facing the effects of trauma, moral injury, grief, anxiety, or spiritual struggles do not have to navigate those challenges alone. The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System’s Chaplain Service Team offers a monthly Chaplain Support Program that provides Veterans a supportive environment to move toward hope, healing, and a fuller life – together. The program is held every second week of the month on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a break for lunch. Sessions take place on the C.W.Y. VAMC Campus in the 5C Chapel, which is in building 100, 5th floor, room 5C-156. During the program, Bay Pines VA Chaplains guide Veterans through navigating PTSD, moral injury, military sexual trauma, and grief and loss. Veterans who would like to participate should speak with their Mental Health or Primary Care provider about obtaining a referral to the program. Take the next step and discover a supportive space to reflect, reconnect, and move forward.
