Marco Rubio, Secretary of State The below is attributable to Spokesperson Tommy Pigott: Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke with Greek Foreign Minister Giorgios Gerapetritis today regarding the importance of U.S.-Greece cooperation in the Eastern Mediterranean. Secretary Rubio thanked Greece for its role as a stalwart NATO ally and reaffirmed the continued strength of the United States-Greece bilateral relationship in defense, energy, law enforcement, technology, and enduring connections between our people.
