Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., was discharged from a rehabilitation center and is now recovering at home after suffering a fall that led to his hospitalization in mid-June, he said in a statement.

The former Senate Republican leader did not offer a timeline for his return to the Senate, which is expected to begin a five-week recess in the coming days.
