Ukraine's military has struck two oil refineries hundreds of miles inside Russia, President Volodymyr Zelensky has said. Both the Slavneft-Yanos refinery in Yaroslavl and the Bashneft-Novoil facility in Bashkortostan were hit, with video verified by us showing huge plumes of black smoke rising from the former. The Slavneft-Yanos refinery is one of the biggest in Russia, processing about 15 million tonnes of crude oil per year. Four people have been injured, the regional governor said, calling the attack the "largest ever by enemy drones". Meanwhile, in Ukraine, officials say several people were killed in separate Russian attacks across the country.

When Andre Lavoie joined SpaceX as an engineer in 2009, he was paid partly in stock. His 200,000 shares are now worth an estimated $23m (£17m). It's thought there are many others like the 63-year-old, with reports suggesting 4,400 new millionaires were created when the tech firm listed on the stock market in June. From today, shares held by employees and early investors are eligible for sale, with more due in batches through the rest of the year. Lavoie is ready to start cashing in to fund his future: "Every chance I get... I'll sell a little bit more," he says. But some may choose to hold onto their stake in the hope of bigger gains later.
