1. The shorts can't be anything to do with a major continuing storyline (as those have to be in the books).

2. I make no promises about fulfilling requests - it just depends on what strikes my fancy when I'm writing. But all requests go into a running file so you never know what I'll pick out. 

3. Keep your request to a short sentence. Please don't send in story outlines or what you'd like to happen, as these are deleted before I ever see them. 

The shorts are more about "missing" scenes, characters you'd like to see a glimpse of, or pieces of their daily lives.

We Read Auckland 2026

Auckland City Libraries runs the fantastic "We Read Auckland" programme every year. During this time, they have literally hundreds of copies of the nominated books up for a two-week loan. 

So if you're in Auckland and you've been wanting to try out my crime fiction, you can grab a copy of Such A Perfect Family at your local branch.

They also run multiple author events and free writing workshops as part of We Read Auckland. You can find out more about the whole programme and all the nominated books here.

I'm fairly certain Eliana Lee's A Pack for Summer is the first cozy omegaverse why choose book I've ever read. 

I wasn't sure how cozy and erotic would work together but they did so beautifully here. Summer, the main protagonist, is joyous and confident and a delight. Her heroes all have their own personalities and quirks, and the place in which the book is set is the epitome of a cozy town.

Check this out if you're looking for a sweetly playful, super sexy, and romantic read.

It's been a while since I've dived head first into hard science fiction, but Neal Stephenson's Seveneves has me hooked! It's an enormous book, but I've raced through part 1 & 2, and am looking forward to inhaling part 3. 

The premise of the book is that the moon splits into seven pieces, and in that break lie the seeds of the destruction of the earth as we know it. 

This book is about humanity working together to survive, about good people doing great things, and about lots and lots of cool science. Definitely pick this up if you enjoy hard sf driven by a very human heart.
