Data processing delays resolved =E2=80=94 no data lost
Earlier today, some customers experienced delays in data
processing across Rize =E2=80=94 time entries, reports, and dashboards
were slower to update than usual.
We=E2=80=99re happy to report that the issue has been fully resolved.
Your data was delayed, not lost =E2=80=94 no data loss is expected.
What happened
A configuration change in a large connected ClickUp workspace
triggered millions of webhook events in a short period. A bug in
our event processing caused failed events to be retried in a way
that queued even more events, compounding the load and creating a
significant backlog in our processing queues. We=E2=80=99ve fixed the bug
and worked through the backlog.
Impact
* Delays in time entries, reports, and dashboard data updating
* Delays in background jobs, integration syncs, and notifications
* No data loss is expected =E2=80=94 delayed data has been processed
normally
Resolution
* The bug in our retry logic has been fixed and deployed
* Processing queues have drained and are operating normally
* Monitoring confirms data is flowing normally again
