Thanks for asking about the community garden plots. I checked with the coordinator yesterday and there are still three raised beds available on the south side near the herb garden. They measure about 4x8 feet each and come with soil already amended from last season. You would need to sign a simple agreement and pay a small annual fee to cover water and compost. I have been gardening in plot 7 for two years now and I really enjoy the shared space. The group meets every other Saturday morning for maintenance and everyone is welcome to join. If you want I can send you the contact information for the coordinator. She usually responds within a day or two. Let me know if you want to stop by this weekend and I can show you around the garden.

I wanted to follow up on the apartment renovation project we discussed last week. The contractor stopped by yesterday and gave us a revised timeline for the kitchen cabinets. They should arrive by mid-month and installation will take about three days. We also decided to go with the quartz countertops instead of granite because they require less maintenance. The flooring guys are scheduled to start next Monday and they said the job will take roughly two days for the living room and hallway. I still need to pick out paint colors for the bedroom but I am leaning toward a light gray with white trim. Let me know if you want to come by and see the progress this weekend.
