Certainly, that fell on the identical day as the previous week. I intended to visit them this week but ran short on time. I believe we can shift the dates to a different time this week after we return. I planned to check when they would be back, but that falls on a separate day this week. You might consider trying your skill at a Venezuelan pabellón criollo (literally, national flag). Essentially it is beef, rice, plantains and black beans, but enjoyable to prepare. Alternatively, I could be any of 3 remarkable Mexican dishes: birria (with beef), cochinita pibil (with pork), or chiles en nogada (stuffed poblano chiles in a creamy sauce). I have prepared them all simply because my sons claimed I could not, and each is absolutely delicious.
