ASUS gave this laptop a 10/10 repairability score. We disagree. |
The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 carries an eye-popping 10 out of 10 repairability score in France. But does this $2,000 gaming tablet/laptop hybrid really deserve a perfect score? We tore down the ROG Flow Z13 and scored it using iFixit's own repairability criteria.
More importantly, this teardown raises a bigger question: As repairability scores become more common around the world, should manufacturers be allowed to self-report the scores that consumers see on price tags?
