This position is located in the Talent Payroll, Benefits and Retirement Section, Talent Services and Systems Division, Human Capital Directorate, Chief Operating Officer.
As the Human Resources Specialist (Employee Benefits), you will:
- Responsible for providing payroll administration and compensation activities involving the responsibility for the interpretation and application of rules, law, and policies.
- Provides advice and guidance to managers related to compensation and payroll.
- Collaborates with and counsel supervisors, timekeepers, employees, management, and Health Services Division on various leave programs and leave types and manage leave program processing, to include Advanced Sick Leave, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Paid Parental Leave (PPL), Voluntary Leave Transfer Program (VLTP) and Voluntary Leave Bank (VLBP).
