Hello FCPS Families and Staff,
Due to the National Weather Service heat advisory in effect for Fairfax County, all outdoor activities scheduled on Fairfax County public schools’ fields and courts from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, 2026, are canceled, including recreation programs and community use by outside groups not affiliated with FCPS.
Extreme heat resources, including the locations of cooling centers and safety tips, can be found on the Fairfax County website. We will continue to monitor heat conditions and will provide updates with the community as needed.
