The CORE Outbreak Investigation Table is a list of outbreak and adverse event investigations primarily being managed by FDA’s CORE Response Teams. The investigations are in a variety of stages, meaning that some outbreaks have limited information, and others may be near completion. The table will be updated weekly.
This week's updates are:
For the outbreak of Clostridium botulinum (ref #1383) linked to a Nara Organics Whole Milk Powdered Infant Formula, FDA has initiated sampling.
For the outbreak of Salmonella Enteritidis (ref #1378) linked to a not yet identified product, the case count has increased from 68 to 70.
For the outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes (ref #1380) linked to requeson/soft ricotta cheese, FDA updated the outbreak advisory on June 18, 2026, with expanded recall information for all Clover Hill Dairy, LLC cheese products.
For the outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 (ref #1369) linked to raw cheddar cheese, FDA’s investigation has closed.
