Over the past year, we celebrated the groundbreaking of a new Community-Based Outpatient Clinic in Bella Vista, AR, and secured new leases for Fayetteville Audiology, our Home-Based Primary Care program and the Homeless Program Clinic. These investments demonstrate our commitment to enhancing care and expanding our reach. We also began preparing for the implementation of the Electronic Health Record Management system, a transformative VA initiative to unify clinical data and enable seamless care coordination across the VA and DoD.

Our teams continued to advance telehealth services while prioritizing mental health and suicide prevention for our Veterans. Innovative initiatives such as the Close to Me Infusion Program and our partnership with Circle of Security have significantly broadened access to care, allowing us to reach and support more Veterans when they need us most.

Reflecting our unwavering commitment to excellence, VHSO earned a 5-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for the third consecutive year; one of only 18 VA medical centers nationwide to achieve this honor. This accomplishment is a testament to the dedication of our staff, the strength of our community partnerships, and, above all, the trust that Veterans place in us every day.
