State Champions!!!
How great does that sound?!?
Last Saturday, the Boys Soccer team played a match that those in attendance or were watching online will never forget. After many years of post-season runs that ended before we wanted them to, the Bulldogs ended the season on top in heart-stopping fashion. They waited until literally the last minute of regulation to take their first lead off of an incredible corner kick!

We couldn’t be prouder of this team and what they were able to accomplish on the field. They were able to accomplish their goals because of the support that each of you have shown to all of the programs at Westfield! Each and every person associated with the program should be proud of this accomplishment.

On a personal note, I am truly proud to be the Director of Student Activities. Each program persevered through their season and each coach and player were made stronger because of the successes and failures that they endured throughout the year. Each program truly embodied our core values of Community, Integrity, and Excellence. Let’s continue to work together to maintain the standards that we have set for ourselves.
There are so many people that deserve credit for this year. The most important people are our student-athletes. Thank you for how you conducted yourselves and making Westfield proud. Thank you to our coaches that led each program. Thank you to the Boosters for your support. You do so much more than making sure that concessions are open every game! Thank you to the school and central office administration.
One last plea. The Activities Office is grateful for your support. Winning is expensive. Schools are responsible for the cost of championship T-shirts for the team, state championship banners, and now STATE CHAMPIONSHIP RINGS.

If you would like to make a contribution to our General athletics fund or towards a specific program, CLICK HERE. 100% of your contribution will go to Westfield High School and will offset the above costs.
Again, thank you all for your continued support. We have the best community in the commonwealth and we are fortunate to have such a great partnership!
