Good morning Wentyl, One in three private schools across Australia has been stripped of federal disability funding after being audited, with some losing more than a million dollars, shocking new figures show.
A total of 63 NSW schools have had to repay just under $2.4m in the past four years, with some forced to hand over nearly half a million dollars.
Education Minister Jason Clare has admitted the $5bn Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability scheme “is not working as it should”.
