Hey, I just got back from that hike we talked about. The trail was amazing—lots of wildflowers and clear views. I took the EdE0aHplpv east loop and it was about 8 miles. Definitely worth it. I packed sandwiches and we ate near the waterfall. The weather held up nicely, only a bit cloudy in the afternoon. I'll send you some photos. Let's plan the next one soon! Maybe check out the new maps they posted at the visitor center. The ranger said the north ridge is open again. I'd love to try that next weekend. Let me know if you're free. We could also bring a few friends and make it a group trip. The trailhead parking is small, so we should arrive early. I heard the sunrise view is spectacular from the summit. I'll bring coffee and snacks.

I tried that new recipe you sent me—the one with roasted vegetables and quinoa. It turned out really well. I substituted some ingredients like using feta instead of goat cheese. My family loved it. I also made a side salad with lemon vinaigrette. The whole meal was light and fresh. I think I'll add it to my weekly rotation. Have you tried any other recipes from that site? I'm looking for something hearty for the cooler evenings. Maybe a chili or stew. Let me know if you have suggestions. I also found a great baking blog that makes amazing sourdough bread. I'm planning to attempt a loaf this weekend. The starter is almost ready. I'll share the recipe if it works out.
