I randomly stumbled onto a new dating site recently and ended up spending more time there than I expected. Not because it was flashy, but because it actually felt quite normal.

You can browse profiles, read about people’s interests, see what they enjoy doing, and get a sense of someone before even starting a conversation. That alone already makes things feel a lot less awkward.
