Tomorrow! Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony
Everything you need to know before tomorrow's graduation ceremony!

Class of 2026 Students and Parents,

Tomorrow, we celebrate the Annandale High School Class of 2026! We want to ensure students and families have all the information they need for a smooth and memorable day.

Graduation will be held at 7:00pm at EagleBank Arena. Tickets are not required. The ceremony will also be livestreamed and available for friends and family members who are unable to attend in person.

Students should arrive by 5:30pm, enter through the loading dock and proceed to the arena floor. Doors open at 6:00pm for guests, who should arrive at the arena no later than 6:30pm and be in their seats by 6:55pm. It is important to know that students must leave all personal belongings in their car or with their families. Bags or purses are not permitted. EagleBank Arena has a clear bag policy and all participants and guests will be screened. See below for more information.

To prepare both students and parents, we have created a Class of 2026 Graduation video. Be sure to check it out!

In addition, Annandale High School’s All Night Grad Celebration will be held the next night (June 9) from 11:00pm to 5:00am at Audrey Moore Rec Center. Tickets are available at the door.

If you have questions about the All Night Grad Celebration, please contact the ANGC Chair. Parents can also support the event by volunteering. It takes many volunteers to make this a successful and memorable night for our seniors. Please review the volunteer sign-up and consider selecting a shift that works for you.

If you have any questions about upcoming senior events, please contact our senior class sponsors, Erin Mahoney and Chase Cole or our senior class administrator, Jae Lee.

Graduation Ceremony

Date and Location: Graduation will be held on Monday, June 8 at 7:00pm at EagleBank Arena. Tickets are not required.

Student Arrival: Students should arrive by 5:30pm, enter through the loading dock and proceed to the arena floor.

No Carried Items: Students must leave all personal belongings in their car or with their families. Bags or purses are not permitted.

Enter at the loading dock

Dress Code: It is Annandale High School’s tradition to treat our graduation as a formal ceremony. By doing so we ensure that every student receives the respect and acclaim he or she has earned. Thus, formal attire is required for graduation.

Formal attire includes dresses, a suit or dress slacks with a collared shirt, and appropriate shoes. Students may not decorate their cap. The tassel is the only thing to be worn on the cap, and nothing is to be attached to the gown (e.g. flowers, messages, etc.) Ethnic and cultural stoles are permitted.

Expected Behavior: Graduation is an opportunity to showcase many of the amazing aspects of our school. Inappropriate behavior anytime during the ceremony will result in the immediate removal of the student from the event. Any student removed from graduation will be issued their diploma at a later date, pending an appointment with their administrator. No objects should be carried onto the stage.

Parking: Students and families may park in Lots A, K, or L on the George Mason Campus. Handicapped Parking is located in Lot A.

Parking Map

Guest Arrival: Doors open at 6:00pm. Guests should arrive at the arena no later than 6:30pm and be in their seats by 6:55pm.

All guests will undergo weapons detection upon entry. EagleBank Arena encourages guests to not bring a bag to expedite the screening process. If you require a bag, EagleBank Arena has a clear bag policy. Bags must adhere to the following: be clear with no obscured inside pockets, not exceed 12x12x6in. Non-clear clutch style bags or purses must not exceed 5x7in.

Where Should Families Sit? To get the best view of your graduate, families should sit on the same side of the arena as their student's seating section. Graduates with last names A-L will be seated on the north side of the arena floor, so their guests should consider sections 112-118. Graduates with last names M-Z will be seated on the south side of the arena floor, so their guests should consider sections 127-103. While seating is general admission, choosing seats on the same side as your graduate will provide the best opportunity to see them throughout the ceremony.
